I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the sales workshop training. Even though I have been selling welding robots for the past 14 years (an old dog at that!), I still found your sales points very interesting . They say that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but “this old dog learned some new tricks from your sales workshop”.
To be honest - I just used your points on a customer yesterday who has already issued me a purchase order for our robots. They were too demanding in every way (from price / free spare parts and payment terms which did not meet my earlier proposal / quotation) . So, I used the “John Ruskin Quote” on them (The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot). Believe me if I say that it worked and I now throw back the ball in to their court and wait for their reaction.
