Dr. Holger J. Schmidt

To run a successful company the modern businessman has to use the power of branding.
Dr. Holger J. Schmidt studied Economics in Mannheim and Barcelona and got a degree as doctor at the University of Hannover. Having gained some practical experience in medium-sized companies he then used to work as consultant, senior consultant and board member for various consultancy companies. He also was managing partner of the advertising agency grafitecture GmbH.
In 2004 Dr. Holger J. Schmidt established Monteverdi Brand Consulting. Monteverdi supports companies to develop and implement their brand identity in order to inspire and commit clients and employees to the enterprise. He demonstrates that branding is the key to success – even in highly sensitive markets. In his job as consultant for the exclusive furnishing house Reuter + Schmidt, Mannheim he proves that it is possible no only to sell high-class brands but to become a premium brand.
In his career as consultant Dr. Holger Schmidt gained a lot of experience concerning cooperation with important clients. Among those customers were also TNT Express GmbH and some other companies of the TNT group. In 2007, after several years of successful cooperation between Schmidt and TNT, he decided to accept the challenge and become managing director of TNT Academy GmbH. At the same time he is still responsible for several strategic functions for TNT Express.
Dr. Schmidt is still member of the faculty for branding at the University of Cooperative Education Mannheim. He also is member of several boards of directors.
He knows how to catch his audience with a combination of teaching and entertaining which makes him a well booked trainer and speaker with the focus on branding and service marketing.
